Privacy policy
Manhattan Criminal Defence (https://www.manhattancriminaldefence.lawyer) is an independent legal information website. It is not a law firm. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
If you submit a callback request, we collect the details you enter: your first name, phone number, where your case is, the type of case, your next court date if you provide it, and whether you already have a lawyer. Please do not send details of what happened. Information sent to this website is not protected by attorney–client privilege.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are read, how people arrive, and where pages are confusing. These services use cookies and similar technology and may collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. Microsoft Clarity may record anonymised sessions of how pages are used; form fields are masked and their contents are not recorded. We use Cloudflare to host the site and to protect forms from spam, which involves processing your IP address and browser information.
How we use information
- To pass your callback request to a licensed New York attorney who will contact you.
- To measure and improve the site and its content.
- To prevent spam and abuse.
Who we share it with
Callback requests are shared with the licensed attorney or law firm that responds to requests from this site. Service providers that host the site, process form submissions or provide analytics receive information only to provide those services. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or court order.
Retention
Callback requests are kept for as long as needed to respond to them and to keep business records, and then deleted. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics provider.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. To ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it, email privacy@manhattancriminaldefence.lawyer.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
